People have asked me my ideas on the Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes and Sinead O’Connor social media war of words. Here’s my take on the situation.

Miley Cyrus was rude and unkind to Amanda Bynes who is currently in treatment for a mental health disorder. Her breakdown was seen by thousands through her social media posts where to be honest, she was very disrespectful of her fellow musicians – and in some cases very odd in her ‘love’ posts to the singer Drake.

Does Bipolar Disorder Have Psychotic Delusions?

Yes! Anyone with bipolar disorder can experiences delusions.

Delusions are psychotic symptoms along with hallucinations.

Delusions are false beliefs where a person experiences something that isn’t real when compared to the outside world. Examples include believing the radio is sending private messages or that the government is monitoring behavior with special cameras hidden in a house.

A Bipolar Disorder Success Story!

Julie, it took my fiancé to call the cops twice to make myself sign into the hospital for treatment. I was hurt and angry @ first as to why she did this because I didn’t understand what was going on at that time. I yelled at her and told her I didn’t want her to visit me. That’s when the doctor told me I had full blown bipolar disorder. But since April, 2006 a lot changed: the right meds- a great pysc dr and counselor and things have been going great..

Bipolar Mania Loves the Month of August!

MANIC-PANIC-onlyA very close friend of mine was just in the hospital for ten days- he had a manic episode. This is only his second in over ten years. They can sneak up on you so fast. The signs were there, but he thought he was just feeling better after being depressed for a few months.

August is a dangerous month for mania – mania loves, loves, loves the sun!

If you think you’re getting manic or you see the signs in someone that they are starting a manic episode, you can go to the menu on the right and click on the manic button- it will show you all of my past mania blogs. There are many ideas on what you can do next.

The manic button is the panic button!
