wow, I want to do a short entry today as I’ve been doing monster long entries!  A newletter is coming soon with a lot of info about meds. Things are going well here finally! I am back to work like a normal person. I sure went through a terrible time, but all that matters is what happens now. I can’t look back too much as those mood swings are so scary! I always make it through.  We can all make it through the bad ones!

I am glad I figured out it was a medication problem and took care of it in a few days.

If you’re new to this blog- maybe you came from the amazon.com link- you can read all about my January mood swing in the posts below!

Could you please talk about the negative side effects on libido of anti-pyschotics such as amisulpride. Is there anything at all that can be done to combat these dreadful side effects?Thank you so much

  • A comment about Julie’s newsletter Feb 18. She mentions talking to her depression. I am not sure if she meant actual out loud talking, but if you haven’t tried that you should. My son is the person dealing with his bipolar issues and he and I have discovered that taking the depressed thought OR the manic thought and saying it out loud decreases its power enormously. It works even if he is alone and speaks out, but it really works if he can find an ear to hear the words. It is actually a very powerful way to pop the power of the runaway thoughts!
