This is like walking into a brick wall that\u00a0you refuse to see- \u00a0even when it\u2019s staring you in the face. It\u2019s a hallmark of bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>My\u00a0bipolar brain says, \u201cSure Julie! Of course you can do that!&#8221; and then once I do it, my stable brain says, \u201cOh no Julie. Look what you\u2019ve done! You caused the monster to come out once again!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I know better. I write the books right? I know not to be so hard on myself. This is a tricky illness. I can get mildly manic and not realize it and then make a decision that seems just fine at the time- in the past, these decisions usually involved money and men- and of course&#8230;. beer.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that I have\u00a0the plan from my books that\u00a0I put into place as soon as I make a mistake with a trigger.
