It was certainly disappointing! But it didn&#8217;t have to be depressing.<\/p>\n<p>People often confuse \u2018disappointment\u2019 and \u2018depression.\u2019 If you have bipolar you know that they are extremely different!\u00a0 Disappointment has a focus- I am disappointed that I am not going to be on the Dr. Phil show as hoped.<\/p>\n<p>Depression is very, very different. It doesn\u2019t have a true focus- it just viciously attacks you and your life.<em> &#8220;You are a failure Julie. Your books will never really sell.\u00a0 You life is pointless, you never get a break in your career\u201d,<\/em> etc etc. ad nauseum! It&#8217;s often what I call free floating.<\/p>\n<p>Depression is\u00a0not true. And I will not listen to it.
