<description>When I have a tough day, which is often when I am writing a book- I constantly remind myself to just keep going and do what I need to do no matter how I feel. It can be really hard to do this, especially when a mood swing is either giving me too much anxious energy or making me so down I feel I can’t find any energy at all. People with manic energy have trouble focusing as well. I have found that even during these times, I can make myself focus and get things done by being really tough with myself and setting a schedule that I have to follow. I know that finishing something even when it feels like my work is worthless – makes a big difference. It means I can go to bed having done something instead of going to bed feeling like a failure. My Health Cards help me with this- they remind me it’s an illness and not a motivational problem.
